The farm is nestled in the hills between Chianti and Valdarno Superiore, in the middle of the beautiful Tuscan countryside, just half an hour from Florence. The apartment is in the 18th century farmhouse divided into 4 apartments renewed in 2012 using greebuilding materials.
At the farm we use renewable energy only : the wood gives us heating, the sun provides us with hot water and the energy necessary to satisfy the house needs. We are under the standards of Eco- Bio Tourism and all the food products are certified organic. We cultivate the land according to the organic agriculture criteria, maintaining its fertility, enhancing its biodiversity.

The apartment it is located at the first floor of the old stone house (13 steps up), it has a kitchen with the old working fireplace, 2 big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, internet connection. One more bed can be added with an extra charge of 10 euro per night .

The apartment has different prices for low - peak season. A discount is applied for a stay of a week in peak season (automatically calculated by Airbnb system). Price includes VAT, tourist tax, bed linen and towels with weekly change, water, gas, electricity, heating, wood for the fire, air conditionning (from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm), WiFi , free use of washing machine and organic soap, final cleaning. The crib and chair for your baby under 2 years old are free.
The apartment is equipped with all you need to cook including salt, sugar, tee and coffee. In case you don’ feel like preparing food there are many good and also cheap restaurants near us. Most of them serve the real Tuscan food, you should try the typical Tbone steak “Fiorentina” if you eat meat or the “Ribollita” soup if you are vegan/vegetarian..
On demand (NOT included in the price- 30euro) we can provide you with a rich basket with our or local organic products for breakfast: homemade bread, homemade jam, our honey, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals , organic apple juice, muesli, eggs (if available from our chickens) and cow/vegmilk.

A car is needed since nearest shops and restaurants are at 7 km from the farm nevertheless we help guests who don't want to rent a car, offering lifts from/to the nearest train station and stores at 10 euro per ride.

We never had problems with mosquitos in summer, but with global warming in these last years they increased in number. We DO NOT have mosquito nets but we provide our guests with mosquito repellents and citronella candles. Our sheets are washed with organic professional detergents made with citronella essential oil.

There is a reserved area in the garden with lounge chairs, chairs , table and barbecue . You can relax in the outdoor wooden tub with view on the valley. We can warm up the water on demand in spring/fall/winter (not included in the price ).

We are in the middle of the beautiful Tuscan country you can walk in chestnut woods, olive groves and vineyards, visit old churches and Medieval villages or go shopping to the most famous top brand outlet of the world: The Mall, just few km from us.
Incisa is the nearest small town. It is 7 km from the farm. There you can find stores and restaurants.
Florence, is just 27 Km from us, Arezzo, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano are close as well and all reachable in a day trip. But if you are tired of hot cities full of tourists, we can suggest some itineraries out of the beaten path where you can discover beautiful small hamlets and gems. Don’t miss a visit to the old Vallombrosa Abbey and a walk in its woods; hang around Chianti for wine tasting and get lost in its small gorgeous villages and castles surrounded by Medieval walls, visit the old and suggestive churches (Pievi) of Valdarno : you ‘ll be more relaxed and less touristy .

If you are a shopping lover , we are at few chilometers from "Dolce & Gabbana" outlet and the famous outlet "the Mall" where you can find the top fashion brands at lower price.

Walkers can discover many trekking paths on the surrounding hills and they’ll be surprised of the wild animals they may meet walking at night or early in the morning … of course you can just relax in a hammock under a tree.

In the apartment you will find a book where itineraries from the farm are described with details including tips on what to see and where to eat like a local.

I would like to welcome you at my farm.
Taking care of a piece of land is for me an act of love for all that surrounds me: soil, water, plants, animals, people. It sums up everything I’ve ever been looking for in my life. I would like to share with you my simple life style , give you an insight to good and sustainable, healthy life .
I travelled the world and now that I’ve finally taken root, I would like the world come here to enjoy the reconnection with Mother Nature sharing an extraordinary luxury: the joy of simple things.
The forceful call of the land involves physical and mental work but, at the same time , in the evening, when I lie down with legs and back aching, it gives me a sense of harmony and contentment .

You can be part of the family! We live in the former barn in front of the house and we like sharing pre- dinners "al fresco" with our guests. In summer we sometimes light up the old wood oven to bake pizza for our guests. Your children can play with my 10-year old daughter, our dog Birra and Bagheera the cat..
