This trail system is a family favorite, year round actually. The first part is a very gentle decent, could even go with a jogger stroller if you had littles, and then once you cross the Little Spokane River there are multiple loops with varying degrees of length. Parking gets a little crowded on the weekend, but park up in the street by Bozarth Mansion and you’ll be fine.

Spokane has 4 very distinct seasons - sometimes all in one day. If you're headed out for the day, the mornings can be pretty cool, with very warm afternoons - so wearing layers isn't a bad idea.

Since we ask for no shoes in the house, you may not prefer your toes on hardwood floors & tile. So if this is you it’s a good idea to grab some extra socks or slippers to pack.
