Springfield is a college town (MSU, Drury, Evangel, OTC & more) and a very stable community that is the birthplace of Bass Pro Shops and "cashew chicken" which is available at every asian restaurant. Sports & the outdoors are important here- there are many parks, walking trails and outdoor events/festivals to enjoy. Our Medical Mile is the regions medical center! We are also flanked by major lakes- Table Rock, Taneycomo, Bull Shoals, and Lake of the Ozarks. Lots to do here during your stay.
