Avoid the part of Main street that is near the Downtown East Side. Upper main around 2nd up to 15th is really cool, has lots of great restaurants and places for drinks.

Rough neighborhoods.
I absolutely don’t recommend going here, its really sad to see, huge homeless and addicted population, very rough neighborhood. Worst area of Vancouver, you can walk through and its reasonably safe but you wont like it 100%.
