We both agree that this is one of the best coffee around in SoCal, or anywhere else really. Support the local community and check this place out!

Slab City is a conglomerate of transients and artists alike, and everything else in between. Located about 2 hours SE of Joshua Tree. Worth the drive for a unique opportunity to experience some subversive art and interact with a raw and emerging counter-culture.
P.S. Not recommended for the germaphobe type.
