My best ‘to-do’ tips for wonderful days in Amsterdam
Large area in Amsterdam with a park, several restaurants and lots of activities. I recommend walking around, having lunch at Cantine de Caron and ending with some fun (arcade) games at the TonTon club!
The whole area has a unique, industrial vibe that matches perfectly with its cultural leanings. It is easy enough to spend entire evenings wandering between Westergasfabriek’s long list of attractions, which include restaurants, music venues, an arthouse cinema and the largest coin-op arcade in the city.

Now, it’s one of the city’s most hip and trendy areas, bursting with cozy cafes, diverse restaurants and a lively nightlife. You'll find the Sarphatipark to walk around in, The Heineken Experience, The Albert Cuyp market (local food market), and great bars and restaurants - among which Cafe Caron and Petit Caron (must visits!)
