This original historic church has so much character and has been the center of ridge culture following the Campfire. Just before you get to the church building on the right, there is a memorial stone lookout point and a rock depicting one of the largest gold nuggets found during the gold rush of California.

This is a lovely park and playground, and the place I park to catch a walking and biking trail that goes all the way up to Magalia. It is the old railroad track that has been paved and has historical markers along the way to teach you some of Paradise’s history.
