It is a protected beach that is generally shielded from the harsh summer winds. Waves are smaller than at Bastendorff and is shallow for a very long way making it great for kayaking and paddle boarding. There are picnic areas, bathrooms and a volleyball court.
It is only an 8 mile drive. 👍

Do NOT give a food cup to your children when entering .... the goats, deer, donkey, llamas and other free-roaming critters are NOT shy and will ALL approach you at once. It can be traumatic for the wee-ones.
