The place to be on a hot summer day. There's a dog park with a nice dock for the pups to jump off, as well as beach volleyball, a massive grass field to chill/hang with the family and friends. There's often food trucks parked here in the summer.

Hikes, Walks, Bikes
This is one of the most gruelling hikes around, and a spectacular hike to see the Wedgemount glacier. 5-6 hours round trip. Stairclimber style hike. Be prepared and you can leave from the house, but best to drive up to the WEDGEMOUNT parking lot on the FSR to cut 1 hour of walking off your day. ** no dogs allowed up as its in the park

It is busy, so be prepared, everyone likes to visit this one because its absolutely breathtaking. And lastly.. no dogs unfortunately.

Another short 1-2 km walk to the canyon falls of green river. After a heavy rainfall, it's exciting to watch logs launch off the cliffs into the fast flowing river in between the narrow rock walls. It's about a 10 minute drive North of Wedgewoods towards Pemberton for this hike with parking right off the highway.

On the easier side of the hikes around whistler and can be hiked to and from in a few hours. Its a glacial turquoise lake where the snow melts from the resort and flows into this gorgeous sight. Be sure to check on the BC parks Website for daily condition and trail closures.

Equally as impressive is the High Note trail on Whistler. It's 16km round trip. Last but not least, there's the Spearhead traverse for the go getters. I'd recommend hiring a guide for this one. Traversing the Spearhead mountain range was completed for the first time back in the 60’s as a winter ski trip. Now with the new addition of the Spearhead Huts, a summer crossing is possible and very rewarding experience. It is a mountaineering classic!

Cross Country Skiing and Touring! One of my favourite local touring spots because you can access the alpine pretty fast. It's about 2 hours up to Gin and Tonic lakes, which is a nice north facing bowl with epic tree runs.
