Pontoon rental
Renting a boat in the Sarasota Bay is SO MUCH FUN. You will usually see dolphins. The water is crystal clear and there are many sand bar type areas where you can get out and explore. I recommend boating to Jewfish Key, Egmont Key, Passage Key, and Sister Keys. "Life is Good Today Pontoon Rentals" is the most reasonably priced pontoon rental company on the island that we can find. You can rent a boat for as little as $275 per day or $975 per week (not including fuel or gas). Website is http://bradentonboatrental.biz/

This is a free trolley that goes up and down anna maria island and a bus comes to every stop every 20 minutes. There are 26 stops in total on the island so you can get anywhere. FREE. Download the "mystop" app and click on manatee county to get real time updates on bus expected arrival times.
