Really cool de-commissioned aircraft carrier that has been in several wars. Really neat historical tour to see what life was like for our servicemen during world war 2 and the Vietnam war. It was also used to recover the Apollo 8 astronauts capsule in 1968.

40 Patriots Point RdReally cool de-commissioned aircraft carrier that has been in several wars. Really neat historical tour to see what life was like for our servicemen during world war 2 and the Vietnam war. It was also used to recover the Apollo 8 astronauts capsule in 1968.
Another one of or favorite plantations to visit. A lot of history here. Home of Arthur Middleton, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. Very pretty place!
