Although the coffee is fantastic, 'cafe' doesn't do this brilliant deli / village shop / cheesemonger justice. Barbon is beautiful and always well worth a visit, and The Churchmouse is a must!

Very close. Great for drinks, food can be mixed but many visitors greatly enjoy it.
Good European cuisine and lively atmosphere on most evenings. Worth booking.

Not a place for beach towels and sun loungers. Nonetheless, this is a spectacular part of the Cumbrian coast. The sand dunes are wonderful and the landscape magnificent.
