The Homestead is one of seventeen holiday cottages at Town Farm, on the edge of the Chilterns. We are a working arable farm, with some sheep over the surrounding hills, we are lucky to have views over to Ivinghoe Beacon on one side, and Aylesbury Vale on the other. All the cottages each have their own unique charm, and we also run a campsite during the summer months. The `Pick Your Own` opens in June and guests can take a picnic and stock up on fruit and vegetables - this is a five minute drive away. It is only a ten minute drive to Tring Railway Station, shops and facilities, or a ten minute walk to Ivinghoe village, with pub, shop and tea room. London Euston is a 40 minute train ride from Tring Station. The Homestead is a three bedroom cottage which was converted from a barn in 2007. It is laid out over two floors, with one ground floor bedroom and bathroom, and two bedrooms upstairs, including a double and two twins. As you come in through the front door, you enter the spacious kitchen, which is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen sink has a view over the garden, and the Vale beyond, and there is also a kitchen table with three chairs. There is also a dining area in the sitting room. The sitting room has a dining table with six chairs, and two large three seater sofas. The flat screen television has Freeview and there is also a DVD player. There is a ground floor bedroom with twin beds, a chest of drawers and a view over the garden. There is also a ground floor bathroom with a bathtub with shower over. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, both with chest of drawers and wardrobe. There is also an upstairs shower room, with shower, toilet and sink. The property has access to a tennis court available to hire, games room and a children`s play area on the farm. Please note that the rental includes an allowance of £30 per week, for electricity. Any extra is charged as used. This allows us to be able to remain environmentally green as possible. Parking for two cars is available at the front of the property. Up to two pets are welcome in the property, please let us know on booking. Wi-fi is included in the rental.
