See Kibera with a Nonprofit Founder
I'll take you on a walk through Kibera, and you'll get an up-close look at the city's largest and most thriving informal settlement. We'll visit social impact activities that supports and trains young entrepreneurs within Kibera. As we walk through Kibera, you'll meet locals and see the growing arts and music scene, while discovering daily life. I'll talk about Kibera's history, political and social struggles, and its role in greater Nairobi as we walk. You'll get a chance to experience the warmth, strength, and resiliency of Kibera's residents. At the end of the experience, we'll stop in a local shop for snacks. Other things to note Please bring your camera, but leave other valuables at home. Closed-toed shoes are required. You will walk about 3-5 km. Unfortunately, this tour is not accessible for those with limited mobility.
Roast & learn everything about coffee
Come and discover what it takes to make a cup of coffee as you journey through the scenic views the coffee farm has to offer. Your tour guide will explain everything about the growing and processing of coffee. He will show you the seedling beds, the fermentation tanks and drying beds. Thereafter he will take you through the process of roasting of the coffee beans. Here, you will get to roast your own batch of coffee and take it as your souvenir. Finally you will have a cup of coffee and snacks at the rooftop with a view of the farm. Other things to note Bring your own camera, comfortable walking shoes ( preferably sports shoes) , a hat and arrange for transportation to the venue.

From there we’ll walk the railroad tracks of Kibera, meeting the people. 2. The Kibera Organization - We'll meet Edu who provides microloans for female-owned small businesses. They also provide motorbikes for Kibera residents to get to work. 3. Bio Gas Center - We’ll meet Edwin, the founder of a project which turns Kibera’s waste into energy for it’s inhabitants. 4. Women’s Craft Center - We’ll meet Rosemary who set up a workshop for women living with HIV. Collectively they remove the stigma of HIV by employing women with HIV to create crafts. 5. Master's Touch Bakery - At the finale of our tour, we’ll meet Nancy for coffee & fresh baked goods. Nairobi National Park Tour
We will pick you up at your hotel / residence/ a Airbnb unit in Nairobi. As you all know Nairobi National Park is unique as the only protected area in the world with such a huge variety of animals and birds close to the capital city. A short drive out of the Nairobi central business district is the Nairobi National park which host a variety of wildlife including the black rhinos, lions ,hyenas, antelopes, buffalos etc. The pick up time is preferably 6:00am so that we make it to the park before sunrise. At the park, we will proceed to register at the main entrance to obtain tickets/gate passes: $43 for non resident adults Paid via card(debit/credit) - not inclusive on the quote. The total time is approximately 4-5 hours inclusive of stopovers. then later on we will drop you at either the pick up location, your hotel or residence within the City. In this beautiful experience,i will start by meeting my guests in Kencom which is Nairobi cbd in Moi Avenue.We will then proceed to a local restaurant and have a wonderful local meal as we get to know each other. After a while, we will head straight to Parklands where we will get to visit some nice club lounges which will include;club ignition,Misty Ginger,club Crooked among others.This is where all the fun will be throughout the entire night.

A visit to the Maasai Market to get acquainted with the Kenyan Culture through the clothes, artefacts and ornaments made locally by our people. 2. Bomas of Kenya to experience first hand cultural entertainment which includes dancing with the Maasais of the Maasai community. 3. Kitengela Hot glass to see how we locally make our house glass ware. 4. The Ferris wheel at two rivers to catch a glimpse of how the entire city of Nairobi looks like from the top. 5. And finally to enjoy Kenya's most cherished local cuisine nyama choma at a local nyama choma joint just next to two rivers. What makes my experience special to begin with is the ease i will offer my guests when it comes to accessing the above stated places. I am a local who is very well versed with my city and how to easily navigate it without any hurdles to say the least. The feeling of belonging, my main aim is to ensure they feel at home in a totally new city and this i will do by bridging the gap between the locals and my guests. I will be the middle person. Forest bathing, plus yoga at karura Forest
Come have forest therapy, yoga, and a hike combined with us at Karura Forest Reserve. It is located in the northern part of Nairobi city. It has 200 bird species, such as the Ayres hawk-eagle, African crowned eagle, African wood owl, grey crested cranes, etc. At 1,041 hectares, it is one of the largest urban gazetted forests in the world. You will also see a waterfall, a lily lake and Colobus monkeys, which were translocated from degraded habitats on the fringes of the Aberdares as part of the colobus reintroduction project, as you enjoy the peaceful walk through the forest.

Painting the African Savannah and Sunsets
Upon arrival, I will welcome you after which there will be some introductions. I will then briefly share my artistic journey and some of my artworks. Next, in a step by step process, I will guide you in painting the chosen theme while advising on colors and painting techniques. All along we will interact with each other, delve into African art and culture while enjoying chilled African music. This experience is NOT about achieving perfection; it's all about having fun and releasing any form of stress! I welcome you to explore the unique and infinite nature of art while discovering your innate talents in this interactive painting session!

We will all meet at the Thika Road Mall (TRM) whereby we will proceed to the market and get fresh products, you will be able to interact with the local vendors also. You will also enjoy a ride on a matatu. We will then proceed to my home and cook a mouth watering food in a Kenyan environment. Other things to note -If you will not be comfortable going to the market , kindly let me know and will get them before. Also if you have any allergies to food let me know. -Be prepared to get your hands dirtyas I show you techniques of cooking with different spices. -You will experience how the locals eat and entertain at my home. -Listen to the Kenyan music and dance as we cook. Together we will visit top locations in the city. I enjoy sharing true stories of life in the city as a student and the dynamics of Nairobi - the door to East Africa. We will visit all the major streets and give an account of history attached to them & why they are special. To get a holistic perspective, we will look back to what Nairobi used to be and what it is right now. You’ll have access to the tallest building in the city and enjoy a panoramic view.
