The vibrant C-E neighborhood has been the Holy City's “hottest" neighborhood for the last seven years. Known for its historic charm, friendly residents, and eclectic "mom and pop" eateries and bars, C-E has much to offer. Need an upscale salon or an old school barber shop? Take your pick. Upper King (only 2 blocks away) is bursting with shops, award-winning restaurants, bars, and nightlife. Every Saturday, Marion Square (10 minute walk) hosts a Farmers’ Market with locally-grown produce, handmade goods, and delicious food stands.
With so many shops, restaurants and other sites within walking distance, our location provides you with the luxury of parking your car if you choose and hitting the pavement during your stay via foot, bike, pedicab, free trolley, or Uber.
Charleston is an extremely unique city on the eastern seaboard. Unparalleled in its charm, growing rapidly, and always expanding its culinary and arts scene while still maintaining its historical integrity, the Holy City has much to offer. For an authentic Charlestonian experience, visit the Charleston City Market (20 minute walk), one of the oldest public markets in America. Stretching over four city blocks, the market boasts over 300 vendors. There are also plenty of great coffee shops and quiet places to take your laptop and work if you don't want to work "at home". Located outside the flood zone, Cayo Cañón is within walking distance to The Charleston City Marina, MUSC, College of Charleston, and Charleston School of Law.
