I welcome all ages, individuals, families, couples and groups to come and create a lasting memory with me.This workshop demonstrates you how to make a custom piece of jewelry using precious metals such as Gold or Silver. Your "experience" is to actively participate and get your hands on Melting precious metals/Gauging/ Soldering/Designing/Hammering/ Embedding gems/Smoothing and Polishing involves in jewelry making. You will become familiar with all Traditional equipment and techniques that are involved. Apart from that you have the opportunity to:- * Touch and examine Rough and Polished (precious, semi- precious) gems from local mines. * Learn how to Identify real gems from fakes. * Learn how to recognize whether a piece of jewelry is made from the same precious metal content or not. * Get Free "Rough/polished gems" at the end of the experience. ~~~ This is a working demonstration class which demonstrates you how to make a piece of jewelry in traditional way ,so If you wish to take what you make with you , then you will have to pay for the Metal and Gems involved in the piece.( very reasonable Non touristic price) But you don`t have to Buy anything unless you want to as we give chance for you to practice with a custom piece ~~ ~You can bring your own ideal jewelry designs to be handmade by yourself. ~ possible to buy Gems and custom made jewelries. Other things to note I host daily from "9 a.m to 11 p.m" Free rough gems are given to you at the end of the experience. On request, I can provide a valid course completion certificate to be known as an artisan.

Sunrise hike to Ella Rock
This is an opportunity to tick few wishes from your bucket list. It's not just about enjoy the peaceful sunrise from the top of Ella rock and I'm not here just to show you the directions. We will start this hiking from Ella town at 3:30 in the morning. We will walk along a railway for 2km and will start hiking from that point on. Sunrise will happen around 6am and the plan is to get there before the down. Hike doesn't take 2:30h, We will be having a peaceful walk sharing stories about the country and culture rather than rushing it to the top. If it's not near to the full moon, then I know the darkest spots in town for stargazing. Once we reach to the top you can enjoy it peacefully because the spot we are going to will be less crowded than little Adams or any other peak in Ella town. Day time is all about flora and fauna. I come from a family where one of my grand father is a Sinhala doctor for snack bites and the other is a hunter. I grow up with them in a village near to the largest rain forest in SEA. So I'm a natural when it comes to spotting birds and explaining plants. We have access to a tiny tree house with the view of Kithalella waterfall . Plan is to be back in town by 9:30-10. Depend on my availability for the rest of the day secret waterfalls, underground caves with ponds in them and visit to other attractions in town is possible. Those will be for an added cost. Other things to note Will provide a free pickup by tuk tuk if you stay close to downtown (2km range from the meeting point) Usually it doesn't rain in the morning. You doesn't need to be adventures to try this & there are no leaches. If its not available for your preferred date contact me.
Traditional Cooking Class In Unawatuna
At nautilus Cooking Class, you'll be able to shop at the market, cook authentic srilankan food, and eat eight favorite Srilankan dishes. The day will be divided into two parts that will have exploring the biggest fresh markets (Greenmarket,Fishmarket)in City of Galle —where you shop for fresh ingredients before you cook them. Then, take Tuk-Tuk back to the cooking school. The cooking class will be conducted in nice seaview balcony where you will be introduced to Srilankan exotic ingredients, including vegetables, spices, and herbs. What We Cook : Rice Three vegetable curry Dhal curry (lentil) Fish or Meat (Chicken) Coconut sambol Papadum when the class is done you can eat what you cook unill your stomach is getting full. Summary - sunrise at Little Adam's Peak , Tea plantation visit, Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, Demodara Railway loop , Ravana Falls, Secret waterfall +great experiences in off the beaten track. This tour covers the top must do activities at Ella, Sri Lanka. Meeting point for the tour is Ella railway station. Walking Tour: Ramparts And Bastions
Hear the stories which has passed down through generations of people who have built their lives inside these walls along with the Colonial Heritage of Sri Lanka. The lifestyle, unique culture and tradition come alive in this walk through the Fort's timeless streets. An authentic residents perspective. In brief the walk shall begin from any convenient land mark location such as the Clock Tower or the Light House. We shall walk along the Fort covering both the Land and Sea Facades, thereafter explore the streets and the architecture within. During the walk you would be privilege to visit our private family home which is a historical Dutch House preserved by the Galle Heritage Foundation. You shall further experience how the Ramparts and Bastions were engineered in a 17th Century Fort and how it survived the Boxing Day Tsunami in 2004, the consequence and the impact thereafter, which proved itself as a living UNESCO World Heritage Site in Asia.

This experience is much about cultural and traditional as it is about Sri Lankan food. The objectives are that each guest will leave feeling ; excited, informed and loving Sri Lanka even more. We will begin our journey with a cup of tea with ginger and sweet. Then after you'll able to learn how to cook traditional Sri Lanka food with Chef Nadeera. We can cook a typical Sri Lankan Meal (Rice with 4 vegetable curries, fish/prawns or chicken, Pol sambol and papadam) according to your dietary preference. All curries will be cooked in Traditional clay pots by using homemade curry powder. After all you can enjoy the meal we prepared in the class in the restaurant with beautiful music.

We welcome you to our cooking class. After you have arrived, you will be refreshed with a king coconut. Before you begin cooking, we will take you to pluck the vegetables from our organic vegetable garden. This is the day you will be the chef in our home kitchen. After you made a lovely traditional Sri Lankan meal the time has come to taste the food you have been cooking. Meanwhile, you are enjoying your meal you will notice you are surrounded by a rice paddy and some lovely peacocks. Since we are in a tea plantation you will get a chance to walk around the plantation and we will serve you a lovely cup of fresh Sri Lankan tea.

Firstly Let's make happy team, We will start the Safari tour from the main entrance of the Udawalawe National Park. we will provide you to food and beverage parcel free of charge for safari tour including Biscuits, Fruits, snakes, and water bottle and tea or coffee. Firstly, Safari tour driver will drive you to ticket counter for you to buy entrance tickets which are require to enter the park. Once we got the tickets, standard process of entry into the park will start. then we'll start to see amazing wildness of Udawalawe which is a famous home can see hundreds of wild elephants roam free. We will first run into the grassland area of the park in the hopes of seeing elephants, foxes, deers, wild pigs, water buffalos, hares, mongooses, bandicoots and some crocodiles in the wetlands areas and also birds such as the Sea Eagle, the Fishing Eagle, Brahminy Kite, Crested Serpent Eagle, Sri Lankan Jungle Fowl, Spur Fowl, Green Pigeon, Sri Lanka Grey Hornbill, Spot-billed Pelican, Little Cormorant, Green Bee-eater, Crested Tree Swift in and among the trees. Next we make our tour to the amazing Udawalawe Reservoir with huge mountains.
