There are many beautiful walks right from the doorstep one being the Lathkill Dale Nature Reserve with its high limestone countryside and clear rivers and loads of lovely wildlife.
Over Haddon isn't far from the pretty market town of Bakewell and also Chatsworth House is only 15 minute drive.
