Wine country. Slightly less expensive and touristy than Napa. Just an hour drive north from the Berkeley Bitty House.

Most of the action in Sonoma is around the Sonoma Plaza, about a 15 minute drive from the Sonoma Hill Cottage. You can spend an afternoon shopping, wine tasting and taking your pick of wonderful restaurants.
