Mare Street Stops LA, LB are about 2 minutes walk. They offer easy buses to Bethnal Green (8 minutes), Shoreditch (15 minutes), as well as London Bridge (20 minutes) and Oxford Circus (but I recommend getting the central line from Bethnal Green). There are loads of bus stop s heading for many locations in this part of Mare Street.
