This is a true island favorite, one, because you can find so much here, and two, because it is run by volunteers and the money goes to Vashon social services. (Over at Bella Luna's, you can find tote bags that say, "I found it at Granny's!"

so when you run out of outdoor activities, this is a real sleeper surprise. we have one of the coolest thrift stores. everything on this island gets recycled. we have some fancy people that live behind some pretty fancy Gates and everybody brings they're no longer wants to Granny's. It supports our Island medical clinic and a domestic violence program among many other charitable ventures. You can find some amazing treasures there. open Wednesday through Saturday.
