Wild, massive, sandy beach! lots of great surfing or simply sunbathe or build sandcastles!

This sand and rocky beach is the hunting ground of the surfer always on the look out for that perfect wave; a surfers paradise. This south westerly facing beach has the best waves in the county BUT it’s only for the experienced and strong swimming surfer. Strong rip currents occur off this beach. It’s the best place to go to watch the surfing.

Known for the film location of the Harry Potter film for the location of shell cottage. And the burial ground of Dobby the elf.

Good Winter walking beach, very popular with the locals. Regularly utilised for surfing competitions.

Great walk on beach or climbing sand dunes. Popular with surfers. Not for swimming but little pools are good fun. Coast path walk and Cafe Mor. Russel Crowe filmed Robin Hood here and Dobbie filmed Harry Potter - Deathly Hallows, where the Shell House features. Toilets here.
