Roberta’s literally put Bushwick on the map: before Roberta’s very few people were venturing out to this corner of Brooklyn. Opened in 2008, Roberta’s still has the best pizza around. They don’t take reservations and you should be prepared to wait. Our favorite item on the menu is the Bee Sting Pizza, featuring spicy soppressata with a drizzle of honey.

Every time I think I’m over Roberta's, I visit one more time and I am completely blown away by the food here. It’s worth the trip, though don't be put off by the hipster clientele. (A waitress once worked her entire shift here naked as a performance art project.)

Roberta’s is famous for their pizza. Even people from Manhattan used to pilgrimage to their location in the depths of Brooklyn (Bushwick). Luckily though they just opened a more convenient location in Williamsburg by the water.
