This lake is on the North side of Prescott and is surrounded by incredible rocks. Good hiking trails, it's usually possible to walk all the way around it.

70 acre lake, 14 miles (30 min) north of Olympus Cabin (3101 Watson Lake Rd Prescott, AZ 86301). You can paddle board, fish, bbq & play 18-hole disc golf at Watson Lake but swimming is not allowed. Canoe and kayak rentals are available. For more rules, activities, park hours and fees, search Watson Lake and go to the City of Prescott page (we cannot post web links here).

The Watson Lake Reservoir has created a unique scene where granite boulders jut up out of the water. it is a city park and there is a $2 entrance fee to get into the parking area. I recommend pulling through and driving all the way to the back and parking in the back lot. There is a fairly strenuous hike through the boulders down to the water if you choose to go that way

A wonderful place to hike, rent Kayaks or just relax at this very unique lake.
