If you would like an escape to nature, Rich park is minutes away just off main street. There are pic- nicking gazebos, sports playing fields, as well as the local YMCA. My favorite..the lovely network of paved nature trails. A place to get some exercise and decompress.

This is located in Mocksville as well. There is a large playground and picnic shelter with bathrooms. Also, there is a hiking/biking train behind the baseball fields. Great place to go. No fee to go.
