Pretty desolate and real easy to get to, great sand dunes and little walks all around it!

This area is also part of the National Trust great views and can walk to Askam in Furness which has a lovely beach too.

It will come as a surprise to many visitors that there are some beautiful, sandy beaches on the West coast of Cumbria. Roanhead is a quiet reserve with sand dunes and a long beach with panoramic views of the fells.
