There are several access points for Cline Buttes Recreational Area. The closest is Fryrear Trailhead: 1.5 miles north of the guest house on Fryrear road – This trail head services the western side of the Cline Buttes Recreational area and is reserved for hiking, biking and equestrian use only. The trailhead is just down the road from the home. (Drive or walk). It's a easy to moderate hike which takes about an hour. Views are spectacular - and 10 mountains can be seen on clear days. Well worth the hike.
