This is our favorite Japanese noodle house. Their udon is made fresh in front of you. If you snag a seat at the counter, you can watch the master noodle person create and cut each of the noodle batches. It’s a bit tight inside, but the wait is so worth it. All of their dishes are incredibly savory and always hit the spot.

INCREDIBLE handmade udon noodle restaurant. Easy parking or metro a block away. Excellent shopping and bars within a block from the restaurant. One of my new favorite restaurants in LA

A short walk to Little Tokyo, Marugame Monzo has some of the best udon you can find in the US. Made fresh daily in-house.

Although ramen seems to be the new 'it' food, udon is slowly creeping up and Monzo is THE place to eat it. They offer traditional & specialty versions of it -all super yummy! My rec: Uni Udon.

Love! Tiny udon restaurant in Little Tokyo. They make fresh noodles behind a glass window for you to see. Cold udon, creamy sea urchin udon, scallop carpaccio. There is usually a wait after 6pm. Lunch
