It’s a big, clean, and bright open space with light-colored wooden tables and counters. There’s a lot of white marble, too—it almost feels like an Apple Store. They have an espresso machine repair shop, so you can look in there and see different types of machines and watch them go through all the different stages of assembling them. Get the Yemeni coffee pour-over from Port of Mokha—it’s one of the top coffees in the world. The fragrance alone will make you a believer even before you taste it.

Oakland, CA born, Blue Bottle is now a national change but the coffee is still exceptional. Our go-to is enjoying a New Orleans Iced coffee on the sunny benches outside.

This is fancy, quickly becoming international pour over doesn't need milk. They sell unusual and hard-to-get beans which make great "I thought of you on my trip" gifts for the coffee lover in your life. With only an open space setting area, it is more for chatting and people watching. No wifi. Don't think about ordering tea; I have tried, they just give you a look for a while.
