Super low-key bar in the Junction. Dark ambiance, but decent bar food.

This is my top choice for drinks and a bite in West Seattle. They have good happy hour prices, with a wide variety of excellent food for the price, interesting decently priced cocktails, as well as a decent variety of good beers on tap. To top it off, they have an interesting space with comfy booths for deeper conversations, taller stools at small round tables for the quick drinks and talk on busier nights, an average sized bar and small space for outdoor seating.

Great bar with surprisingly great food. Go for brunch and try the crab cake po'boy.

Shadowland has a really good happy hour during the week. They don't discount the drinks, but the food is excellent and you can eat your heart out for ten bucks.
